📢How to Enable Notifications for Incoming WhatsApp Messages in Pipedrive

If you are using Pipedrive Messaging with WhatsApp integration, you can enable notifications to stay updated on new messages. Follow these steps to ensure you receive desktop notifications for new conversations.

Step 1: Open Messaging Settings

  • Click on the Leads in the left sidebar

  • Navigate to "Messaging" under Integrations.

Step 2: Enable Desktop Notifications

  • In the Messaging section, click the notification bell icon 🔔 at the top of the page.

  • At the top of the pop-up, you will see a message: 🚨 "Pipedrive needs your permission to allow desktop notifications."

  • Click the "allow desktop notifications" link (as shown in the screenshot).

  • Your browser will display a permission request – click "Allow"

  • Once permission is granted, toggle on "Desktop notifications" to activate pop-up alerts on your screen.

Step 3: Configure Notification Preferences

Make sure the following options are checked:

  • ✅ New messages in conversations assigned to you

  • ✅ New messages in conversations assigned to other users

  • ✅ New messages in unassigned conversations

  • ✅ New conversations assigned to you

Step 4: Save Your Settings

  • Scroll down and click "Save" to apply the changes.

Important Notes: Browser Support: Desktop notifications work best in Google Chrome. If you are using another browser, notifications may not function properly. ✅ Allow Notifications: Ensure that your browser allows notifications for Pipedrive. You can check this in your browser settings. ✅ Check Permissions: If notifications are not working, go to your browser's site settings and allow notifications for Pipedrive.

Now, you will receive real-time desktop notifications for new WhatsApp messages inside Pipedrive Messaging! 🎉
