# What to do if you were banned from WhatsApp

Write to WhatsApp technical support asking why your number was blocked and if it can be unblocked. According to our statistics, 50% of numbers are returned. On average, the response from WA within 24 hours.

**Attention! Even if the number is unblocked, the connection on the previously blocked device must follow the instructions:**

1. Uninstall the blocked WhatsApp/WhatsApp Business app.
2. Delete Google account (disable synchronization with a valid Google account)
3. Disconnect from wi-fi
4. Turn off your phone
5. Change the sim card.
6. Turn your phone back on.
7. Create a **NEW** Google account and sign in with it;
8. Install WhatsApp/WhatsApp Business on mobile internet;
9. Register a WhatsApp number on mobile internet.
10. Warm up the number without connecting to the widget for 1-2 weeks.
11. Scan the QR connection from the widget settings.
