# If you have been banned in WhatsApp

#### Contact WhatsApp technical support with a question about why your number was banned and if it can be unbanned. According to our statistics, 50% of numbers are restored. On average, WhatsApp technical support responds within a day.

### Attention! Even if the number is unbanned, connection on a previously banned device must be done according to the following instructions:&#x20;

1. Uninstall the blocked WhatsApp/WhatsApp Business application;
2. Remove your Google account (disable synchronization with your existing Google account);
3. Disconnect from Wi-Fi;
4. Turn off the phone;
5. Replace the SIM card;
6. Turn on the phone;
7. Create a NEW Google account and sign in with it;
8. Install the WhatsApp/WhatsApp Business application using mobile internet;
9. Register the WhatsApp number using mobile internet.
10. <mark style="color:orange;">Gradually rebuild connections</mark>: Gradually increase activity in chats to reduce the risk of suspicion.
