How to write first to WhatsApp or Telegram from Bitrix24

You can use the Deal, Lead, or Contact entities to send your first message.

In the contact/lead or deal card Select SMS WhatsApp/Telegram as the method of communication.

Note that if the contact has a hidden number in Telegram settings, the message will not be delivered and you will receive a sending error message.

By default, the open line chat is created only after the customer replies. However, you can enable the function of creating a chat in open lines when sending via SMS in the widget settings:

You can also send your first message via the integrated web messenger, which is available in the Contact, Lead or Deal entities. To do this, select the Whatcrm web tab

After loading the messenger tab, type a message. You can send a text with a file or record an audio message and then click the send icon or press the Enter key. The messenger tab is available on the Start plan

Creating a chat in open line when sending via SMS:

  1. Open the application and tap Change settings.

  2. Enable toggle the Create open line when sending a message via SMS function and Save settings

    Once enabled, you will have chats created in an open line immediately after sending a message to a customer via SMS.

Click More and select the desired connection of our service from the list
Write a message and click Send
If the setting is active, an Open Line will be created in the following scenarios: 🔹 when sending an outgoing message via SMS, 🔹 after launching a mailing via CRM marketing, 🔹 after initiating a dialog with a contact in WhatsApp, 🔹 when using robots and business processes.
