How Updates Work in the Whatcrm and monday.com Integration

What does this mean? Updates are created inside items for both incoming and outgoing messages, but you cannot initiate the first message from monday.com. In other words, you can only reply to a message that has already been received.
When you receive a message on WhatsApp, an Update is created inside the corresponding item on the monday.com board.
You can reply to this Update directly from monday.com. The reply will be sent back to WhatsApp as a Reply (response to the original message).
Important: If you manually create a new Update in monday.com, a message will not be sent. You can only respond to an existing Update that’s linked to the WhatsApp message.
Any reply you send to the Update in monday.com will be automatically delivered as a reply to the WhatsApp message.
The connection between the Update and the WhatsApp message is stored for 7 days. After this period, messages will no longer be delivered to the Update.
To respond to a message after this time, you’ll need to use the Whatcrm web messenger version.
