When communicating with customers using our messenger, it is not at all necessary to type the same message every time, for example, with a description of a product/service or a class schedule. For this purpose, you can prepare frequently used response templates in advance and quickly send them to the client when necessary.
Go to the Settings of our application, select the Automation section. To create a template, click the "Create message template" button.
In the window that opens, enter the name of the template and the message text.
The following variables are available for auto substitution: NAME - contact name DATE - current date in the format (dd/mm/yyyyyy) CLIENT_NUMBER - number of the client to whom the message will be sent COMPANY - name of your WhatsApp account MY_NUBMER - number from which the message will be sent
Click the "Save" button and the created message will appear in the list of templates. You can delete or edit it.
To use the template for correspondence, select the desired contact to whom you want to send a message, open the messenger tab [Whatcrm web] then, you need to call up the list of templates. You can do it in two ways:
To the left of the text input box, click the paper clip icon and select Template. A list of all templates will be displayed, select the desired template and it will appear in the message entry field.
The list of templates is called using the keyboard by pressing the slash character - ''/''.
Use arrows and the Enter button on the keyboard to select the desired template. If you start typing a template name after the slash ''/'' character, the system will list only templates with matching names. To send a message, press Enter or press the airplane icon to the right of the text input line as usual. The client will receive the message in the standard form.
You can add files up to 100mb (for Pro tariff / 50mb for Starter tariff) and media (16mb for photo and 64mb for video if you have Pro tariff) to the template. To add it, click on the paperclip button or drag and drop the desired file from a folder or desktop.
